This is a very fine crinoid from a site that usually does not produce crinoids. The Ridenhower Formation at Millstadt, Illinois is a well-known site for blastoids. The crinoid is nicely 3-dimensional. It is a nice pinkish-tan color and contrasts well with the matrix. The specimen exhibits wonderful detail. This is a great crinoid from an unusual location.
