This is a nice representative crinoid from Crawfordsville, Indiana. The crinoid is very dark and contrasts well with the matrix. The finely-pinnulated arms are very evident and the specimen shows great detail. The fossil is nicely centered on the matrix. There is also a small piece of fossil coral on the same specimen. This is a great example of a crinoid from the famous Crawfordsville, Indiana area.
