This is the best specimen of this species we have ever seen. It was found in a small outlier of the Keokuk Formation near St. Genevieve, Missouri. The long arms are strongly keeled (typical of this species) and very tightly articulated. This specimen displays great plate structure and detail. It is very 3-dimensional and nicely centered on a piece of matrix. With just a touch of stem, this crinoid is a wonderful display piece. This is a great crinoid from an unusual location.
