This crinoid is a "perfect" example of a Parascytalocrinus hamiltonensis. The feature that makes this a Parascytalocrinus is the unpaired arm (clearly seen) off the A ray. This crinoid has only 9 arms, therefore it is a Parascytalocrinus. The long arms display the fine pinnules very nicely. The specimen has good color, nice contrast, and is nicely centered on the matrix. It even has a section of the pentagonal stem attached. This is a wonderful single specimen of this species.
