This is a nice plate of crinoids from the world-famous Crawfordsville, Indiana site. The largest crinoid is a top view of a Gilbertsocrinus showing the large appendages for which this crinoid is famous. Even the very small, delicate, inner arms are preserved on this specimen. Also present are an uncommon species of Sarocrinus, a very small Macrocrinus calyx with long anal tube and long stem, and a small Cyathocrinites. The Gilbertsocrinus is very 3-dimensional and nicely centered on the matrix plate. This is a nice association of crinoids from a very classic location.
