This crinoid displays beautifully. It was collected 15 years ago from a site now closed to collecting. This specimen was recently acquired from a major crinoid collection. The crinoid's plate structure is quite evident and it has beautiful feathery detail on the arms. It has a long stem and sits nicely on the tan matrix. This is a great example of a crinoid from Gilmore City, Iowa.
