Here is a nice multiple crinoid plate from Gilmore City, Iowa. The plate has five crinoids preserved (2 Eretmocrinus tentor and 3 Dichocrinus multiplex). All of the crinoids are well displayed, with stems present on some of the crinoids. The fossil echinoderms have good color and contrast and are naturally showcased on the large plate of shale. This is a very nice crinoid multiple from a classic echinoderm locality. (The colored dots are used for identification.)
