Here is a nice crinoid from Gilmore City, Iowa. A fine example of Eretmocrinus tentor is preserved on the plate. This crinoid is well displayed, with the LONG stem preserved, which is very unusual. The fossil echinoderm has good color and contrast and is nicely positioned on the natural plate of limestone. This is a cool crinoid from a classic locality that is now closed to collecting.
