Here is a very nice crinoid from Gilmore City, Iowa. A wonderful example of Eretmocrinus tentor is preserved on the plate. This crinoid is beautifully displayed, with the long arms intact and a small portion of the stem present, which is very unusual. The fossil echinoderm has great color and contrast and is nicely composited on the natural-edged plate of limestone. This is a beautiful crinoid from a classic crinoid locality.
