Here is rare crinoid and echinoid association from Gilmore City, Iowa. The plate has TWO rare Arcaeocidaris aliquantula echinoids, a large Eretmocrinus tentor crinoid, a rare Rhodocrinites douglassi serpens, and an unidentified crinoid preserved. The large urchins are beautifully displayed and quite inflated. The crinoids also display excellent detail. The fossils have great color and contrast and are naturally showcased on the squared chunk of limestone. This is an extremely uncommon echinoid and crinoid association from a classic Midwest locality. (The red dots are for identification.)
