Here is a large crinoid from Gilmore City, Iowa. A nice example of Eretmocrinus tentor is preserved on the plate. This crinoid is well displayed, with the LONG anal tube and a nice portion of the long stem present, which is very unusual. The fossil echinoderm has good color and contrast and is nicely positioned on the large plate of limestone that also contains many crinoid stems with cirri. This is an affordable large crinoid from a classic locality that is now closed to collecting.
