Here is fabulous plate of echinoderms from Gilmore City, Iowa. The plate has a rare Arcaeocidaris aliquantula echinoid preserved. The urchin is beautifully displayed with spines intact, which is quite unusual. There is also a very nice Eretmocrinus tentor crinoid on theplate - this is an extremely large example with LONG anal tube! The fossils have great color and contrast and are naturally positioned on the large, semi-rectangular plate of limestone. This is a TOP QUALITY echinoid and crinoid association from a classic Midwestern fossil locality.
