This is a very detailed specimen of Ichthyocrinus laevis from the Rochester Shale of New York. The crinoid has great plate structure. Some of the tiny arms are exhibited, which is unusual for this type. The crinoid has a long, articulated stem attached to the crown. The sea lily is very 3-dimensional, has great color and contrast, and is well showcased on the large plate with a Lyriocrinus. This is a very unusual double specimen of Ichthyocrinus and Lyriocrinus from New York.
