Here is a fabulous crinoid from Gilmore City, Iowa. A wonderful example of Dichocrinus multiplex is preserved in the center of the plate. This large crinoid is beautifully displayed, with the feathery arms and most of the long stem present, which is very unusual. The fossil echinoderm has great color and contrast and is nicely positioned on the large, natural plate of limestone. This is a beautiful crinoid from a classic crinoid locality.
This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
