Here is a gorgeous plate of two very detailed crinoids from Gilmore City, Iowa. The plate has a pair of fabulous Dichocrinus multiplex preserved on the slab. The pinnulated Dichocrinus are beautifully displayed with arms splayed and long stem intact, which is quite unusual. The fossil echinoderms have great color and contrast and are naturally positioned on the natural plate of shale. This is a very fine pair of crinoids from a classic crinoid locality.
This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
