Here is a plate of very detailed crinoids from Gilmore City, Iowa. The plate has two detailed Eretmocrinus tentor, one fabulous Dichocrinus multiplex, and a fine Cercidocrinus cirrifer preserved on the slab. The crinoids are beautifully displayed, with stems present, which is very unusual. The fossil echinoderms have great color and contrast and are naturally positioned on the large, natural plate of shale. This is a very fine grouping of different crinoids from a classic crinoid locality.
This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
