This is a one-of-a-kind plate of fossils. It is a spectacular Ectenocrinus simplex crinoid, a fine Arionoceras sp. cephalopod, and two Ceraurus pleurexanthemus trilobites from the famous Walcott-Rust Quarry near Trenton Falls, New York. This plate is from the quarry that Charles D. Walcott and James Hall made famous over a century ago!  The crinoid has great detail preserved, showcasing the EXTREMELY LONG stem, long, branching arms, and fine ramules beautifully. The plate also has two Ceraurus pleurexanthemus and a colorful Arionoceras cephalopod preserved on the piece. Anyone who knows anything about the history of US fossils knows how important a rare crinoid from this locality is - it is a piece of history. This is a very collectible example of a long-stemmed Ectenocrinus simplex crinoid from the Walcott-Rust Quarry - one of the best ever found in the quarry.

This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
