This is an unusual Ordovician crinoid. There is a nice Eopatelliocrinus scyphogracilis crinoid preserved on this slab. This fine specimen was recently acquired from a major crinoid collection. The 3-dimensional crinoid on this plate is nicely articulated and has excellent detail - even the unique plate structure is beautifully defined. The long, delicate arms showcase the tiny pinnules in ''feathery'' fashion. The dark-colored crinoid contrasts strikingly with the light-colored matrix. The distinct sea lily is wonderfully showcased on the large, natural plate of shale. This is a beautiful Eopatelliocrinus scyphogracilis from Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
