Here is a fabulous pair of crinoids from Gilmore City, Iowa. Two wonderful examples of Dichocrinus multiplex are preserved in the center of the plate. These crinoids are beautifully displayed, with the feathery arms and some of the long stem present, which is very unusual. The fossil echinoderms have great color and contrast and are nicely positioned on the large plate of limestone. This is a beautiful pair of crinoids from a classic echinoderm locality.
