Here is a very nice Eucalyptocrinus crassus from the Silurian of Indiana. The site where this specimen was found is now filled with water. This fully inflated crinoid has excellent detail. The plate structure of the cup is just exquisite. The arm supports are beautifully displayed, and the color of the fossil contrasts wonderfully with the light grey matrix. The crinoid is nicely presented on the natural plate of shale along with a brachiopod and other fossil inclusions. This is a very good specimen of Eucalyptocrinus crassus from the Waldron Shale.

This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
