Here is a very nice multiple crinoid plate from Gilmore City, Iowa. The plate has SEVEN excellent crinoids preserved (4 Eretmocrinus tentor and 3 Dichocrinus multiplex). ALL of the crinoids are wonderfully displayed and are extremely inflated. The fossil echinoderms have great color and contrast and are naturally positioned on the large, semi-rectangular plate of limestone. This is a very prolific crinoid multiple from an historic fossil locality. (The red dots are used for identification.)
This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
