Here is a gorgeous plate of very detailed crinoids from Gilmore City, Iowa. The plate has two fine Eretmocrinus tentor preserved on the slab. The crinoids are beautifully displayed very close to each other, which is quite unusual. The fossil echinoderms have great color and contrast and are naturally positioned on the large, natural plate of shale. This is a very fine pair of crinoids from a classic crinoid locality.

This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
