Here is a very nice crinoid from Gilmore City, Iowa. A wonderful example of Eretmocrinus tentor is preserved on the plate. This crinoid is beautifully displayed, with the arms splayed open and a portion of the long stem present, which is very unusual. The fossil echinoderm has great color and contrast and is nicely positioned on the natural plate of limestone. This is a beautiful crinoid from a classic crinoid locality.
This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
