This is a fantastic multiple crinoid plate from Gilmore City, Iowa. The plate has THREE LARGE Eretmocrinus tentor crinoids preserved. The crinoids are beautifully displayed, with the arms splayed open in textbook fashion. All of the crinoids have LONG stems preserved - the stems run the length of the plate! The fossil echinoderms have great color and contrast and are naturally positioned on the large, natural plate of shale that also contains a crinoid root at the top of the slab. This is a fabulous display plate of large Eretmocrinus crinoids from the classic Gilmore City locality.
