Here is a textbook crinoid from Gilmore City, Iowa. A wonderful example of Eretmocrinus tentor is preserved on the plate. This crinoid is beautifully displayed, with the arms splayed out and much of the long stem present, which is very unusual. The fossil echinoderm has great color and contrast and is nicely showcased on the semi-rectangular plate of limestone. This is a beautiful crinoid from a classic echinoderm locality.
This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
