Here is a gorgeous plate of very detailed crinoids from Gilmore City, Iowa. The plate has two wonderful Dichocrinus multiplex and one fabulous Eretmocrinus tentor (note the curving arms and long anal tube) preserved on the slab. The crinoids are beautifully displayed very close to each other, which is quite unusual. The fossil echinoderms have great color and contrast and are naturally positioned on the large, natural plate of shale. This is a very fine trio of crinoids from a classic crinoid locality.
This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
