Here is a nice pair of crinoids from Gilmore City, Iowa. Two examples of Eretmocrinus tentor are preserved on the plate. Both crinoids are beautifully displayed, with the long arms slightly splayed open, which is unusual. The fossil echinoderms have good color and contrast and are nicely positioned on the large, natural plate of shale. This is a very affordable pair of crinoids from a classic fossil locality.
This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
