Here is rare echinoid and crinoid association from Gilmore City, Iowa. The plate has a rare Arcaeocidaris aliquantula echinoid, an Eretmocrinus tentor crinoid, and a Dichocrinus multiplex crinoid preserved. The urchin is beautifully displayed and quite inflated. The fossil has great color and contrast and is naturally positioned on the squared chunk of limestone. This is a very uncommon echinoid and crinoid association from a classic Midwest locality. (The red dots are for identification.)
This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
