This is a prolific plate of crinoids from the famous site at Crawfordsville, Indiana. There are NINE crinoid crowns on the plate. There are THREE large Platycrinites hemisphericus crinoids with LONG corkscrew stems still attached to each crinoid All of the other crinods also have stems attached, which is highly unusual. The crinoids have been prepared in very high relief for better display. There are also many Cladochonus corals and corkscrew Archemedes bryozoans preserved on the plate. The fossils have great color and contrast and are well showcased on the large, natural block of siltstone. This is a very displayable multiple plate of Crawfordsville crinoids.
