Here is a nice double specimen of crinoids from the Paint Creek Formation of Illinois. This specimen was collected over 30 years ago and was recently acquired from a major fossil collection. There are two unidentified crinoids on the plate. Both of the fossils have a beautiful white coloration - this color is fully natural and not added. The fossils are well positioned on the rectangular matrix plate that also contains several brachiopods and bryozoan specimens. This is an extremely rare plate of crinoids and others from a classic collecting site in Illinois.
This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
