Here is an unusual multiple crinoid plate from the Ordovician of Canada. These crinoids have an extremely small cup and long arms that branch many times. The very thin arms seem to go on forever. The plate structure of this echinoderms is nicely defined and easily seen. Lengthy stems are still tightly attached to the cups of ALL SIX of the crinoids, which is extremely unusual. The sea lillies have very good color and contrast and are beautifully showcased on the rectangular plate of limestone. This is a great multiple example of this unusual crinoid from the Ordovician of Canada.
