Here is a nice crinoid and blastoid association. These are Onychocrinus crinoid and Pentremites blastoid from the Mississippian of Indiana. The crinoid has very nice detail preserved. The arms are easily seen, and the long stem is quite impressive. Both blastoids are highly unusual in the fact that remnants of the brachioles and stems are preserved. Usually, the thin, hair-like brachioles (feeding appendages) are not present. The echinoderms have good color and contrast and are well centered on the rectangular plate. This is an uncommon specimen of a nice crinoid and two blastoids from Sulphur, Indiana.
