This is an unusual crinoid double from Indiana. This is Eretmocrinus granuliferus and Macrocrinus mundulus from the famous Crawfordsville crinoid beds. Eretmocrinus is characterized by the way the arms expand in width near the top - this specimen showcases this feature beautifully. The crinoid is quite inflated and 3-dimensional. The plate structure of the cup is very detailed, and a section of stem is still attached to the cup. The Macrocrinus (at the top of the plate) is also well preserved. The fossils have great color and contrast, and are well centered on the rectangular block of matrix. This is an affordable example of this very rare ''Umbrella-armed'' crinoid.
