Here is a very nice multiple specimen of Macrocrinus mundulus from the Mississippian of Indiana. There are two appealing examples of this particular crinoid on the rectangular plate. Both of these sea lilies exhibit fine detail. These camerate crinoids have excellent plate structure and long, unbranched, biserial arms that display fine, feathery pinnulation. The long, nodose-plated anal tubes of the crinoids are even exposed. The stems are still attached to both of the crinoids. The fossils have great color and contrast and are naturally positioned on the squared plate of siltstone. This is a very pretty slab with two Macrocrinus mundulus preserved.
