This is a very rare multiple specimen of Triacrinus elongatus from the world-famous Bundenbach Slate. This amazing specimen could have ended up as a roofing shingle! There are eight individual crinoid preserved on this plate, and all but one has its stem attached. The textbook slender arms are easily seen on the crinoids. The fossils are replaced by golden iron pyrite and wonderfully spaced on the large slab of roofing slate. This is one of the most outstanding specimens of this type of crinoid that we have ever seen. This is a collectible display specimen of Triacrinus from Bundenbach, Germany.
