Here is an extremely interesting plate of crinoids from the Rochester Shale of New York. There are three fine examples of Dimerocrinites on the slab. These primitive crinoids are nicely inflated and have great plate structure. The finely pinnulated arms are easily seen, and two of the crinoids still have their stems intact. There are also several examples of bryozoans and crinoid stems preserved on the somewhat triangular plate. This is a great multiple example of this very unusual crinoid from the Silurian sea.
