This is a wonderful double specimen of Agaricocrinus americanus from the classic crinoid locality of Crawfordsville, Indiana. The crinoids are very inflated and 3-dimensional. They both display exceptional detail - the heavy, biserial arms showcase the small pinnules beautifully. The natural color and contrast of the fossils is quite striking. The crinoids are well centered on the semi-rectangular plate of siltstone. This is a very fine pair of Agaricocrinus from Crawfordsville.
