This is a very nice double Cupulocrinus plate from Ontario, Canada. This type of crinoid has a somewhat cone-shaped cup composed of large plates and multi-branching, uniserial arms. These crinoids exhibit fine detail - the plate structure is easily seen. The cream-colored crinoids contrast wonderfully with the gray matrix. The fossils are beautifully presented on the large, rectangular plate of dense limestone. And, best of all, they are totally natural to the piece - they have not been composited. This is a very displayable plate of Ordovician crinoids from Canada.

This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
