This is a striking crinoid fossil. It is a very nice Cupulocrinus from Ontario, Canada. This crinoid is white in color and has great contrast against the darker matrix. The crinoid is also very detailed - the arms and plate structure are easily seen. The LONG stem is tightly attached and beautifully displayed. The crinoid is nicely centered on the rectangular matrix plate. It is a great example of an Ordovician crinoid.
