This is a very pretty specimen of Cyathocrinites multibrachiatus from the famous Mississippian deposits near Crawfordsville, Indiana. The crinoid is inflated and exhibits very fine detail. The bulbous plates of the cup are nicely displayed. The multi-branching pattern of the uniserial arms is clearly defined. This fossil has excellent color and contrast. It is well presented on the natural plate of siltstone. This is an excellent specimen of Cyathocrinites multibrachiatus from the Edwardsville Formation.
