This is a very distinct crinoid. It is a Decadocrinus from Crawfordsville, Indiana. This type is known for the shape of its arms - the arms look like jaws with teeth in them! This crinoid displays this feature very well, as well as the plate structure of the calyx. The crinoid is very well-centered on the squared matrix plate. And there is even a small amount of stem attached. This is a very displayable example of this crinoid they call "Jaws".
