This is a very nice specimen of Gogia spiralis from the Middle Cambrian of Utah. The detail of this eocrinoid is very fine. The nodose-plated, sac-like holdfast is very extended. The large-plated calyx is well defined. The spiraled arms are very distinct. The fossil has great color and contrast. It is nicely centered on the rectangular matrix plate. This is a very good specimen of this primitive echinoderm.
