This is a very 3-dimensional specimen of crinoids from the Mississippian of Indiana. The main crinoid is an extremely inflated specimen of Scytalocrinus. This crinoid shows good plate structure of the cup. This specimen displays very robust, uniserial arms. The very top of the anal tube is seen. This crinoid has a long stem attached. At the bottom of the plate is a specimen of Macrocrinus mundulus. This specimen exhibits a very long anal tube. Many of the pinnulated arms are present. A section of stem is attached to the crinoid. The fossils have good color and contrast. They have been prepared in high relief. They are well presented on a somewhat squared plate of matrix. This is a very affordable specimen of crinoids from Indiana.
