This is a nice multiple plate of crinoids from the Silurian of Morocco. There are three examples of Scyphocrinites sp. on the slab. This type of camerate crinoid has a large cup composed of many, many stellate plates and long, multi-branching, uniserial arms. The detail of the inflated crinoids is quite nice. The plate structure is very apparent, and the long arms are extremely well defined. The grayish color of the crinoids contrasts well with the reddish-brown matrix. The three crinoids almost fill the natural plate of limestone. This is a very good multiple specimen of this highly ornamented crinoid from Morocco.
