Here is a nice crinoid from the Ordovician of Canada. This crinoid has an extremely small cup and long arms that branch many times. The very thin arms seem to go on forever. The plate structure of this echinoderm is nicely defined and easily seen. A lengthy stem is still tightly attached to the cup of the crinoid and curves gracefully toward the bottom of the plate. The ''sea lily'' has very good color and contrast and is beautifully centered on the somewhat rectangular plate of limestone. This is a fine example of this unusual crinoid from the Ordovician of Canada.
