This is a piece of limestone with two different crinoids from the Upper Burlington Formation of Missouri. The crinoid on the right is Uperocrinus pyriformis. This specimen exhibits superb plate detail. The plates on the cup are somewhat smooth. The plates on the tegmen are very nodose. The arm attachment points are easily seen. The crinoid on the left is a nice specimen of Eucladocrinus. The stem attachment point is quite noticeable. This is a rare crinoid and highly prized by collectors. Both crinoids are very 3-dimensional. The off-white color of the crinoids contrasts nicely with the orangish-brown matrix. The crinoids are well centered on a semi-squared block of limestone. This is a very aesthetic specimen from the Burlington Limestone.
