This is a specimen of Abrotocrinus unicus from the Warsaw Formation of Illinois. The crinoid exhibits good detail. The plate structure of the cup is very nice. The branching pattern of the uniserial arms is quite evident. The arms also display the pinnules nicely (hard to see in photo). The crinoid has the long, articulated stem preserved. The fossil has good color and contrast. It is well centered on a rounded plate of siltstone. This is a fine specimen of this inadunate crinoid from the Warsaw Formation.
