This is a very fine multiple crinoid specimen from the Upper Burlington Limestone of Missouri. The top crinoid is Strotocrinus glyptus. This crinoid is very unusual. It has an extremely large umbrella-like tegmen. Usually, the tegmen is all that is found. This specimen is rare in that it displays the stellate-plated cup, also. The bottom crinoid is Uperocrinus aequibrachiatus. This specimen also displays the top of the tegmen. The plate structure is very nice on this crinoid. The arm attachment points are readily observable, along with the anal opening. The crinoids are 3-dimensional. The off-white color contrasts well with the orangish-brown matrix. This is a very fine specimen of two different crinoids from the Upper Burlington Formation.
