This is a very fine crinoid & blastoid association piece from the Upper Burlington Limestone. The crinoid is Teleiocrinus umbrosus. This is not a common crinoid from this strata. This crinoid is totally 3-dimensional. The plate structure is wonderful. The arm attachment points are quite evident. The blastoid is Globoblastus norwoodi. There are also other crinoid fragments on the slab. The fossils have great off-white color and contrast well with the orangish-brown matrix. This is a very displayable specimen of Teleiocrinus with a blastoid on the same plate.
