This is spectacular crinoid plate. There are three beautiful crinoids preserved - Gilbertsocrinus dispansus, Cyathocrinites iowensis, and the rare Catilocrinus tennesseeae. The main crinoid on the plate is the fabulous Gilbertsocrinus. This specimen is super 3-D and has incredible detail. And to top it off, there is an excellent Platyceras equilateralis gastropod attached smack-dab in the center of the Gilbertsocrinus. This is an amazing display plate of Missisippian crinoids.
